Shiona Lee is a SAG-AFTRA actress based in Los Angeles and Seoul. She received the Best Actress Award at the 2024 Pasadena International Film Festival for her role as Sarah in Hello, Goodbye, a Korean American short film about grief and moving on.
Her credits span film, television, commercials, and voice over — including dubbing for the Netflix originals We Are All Trying Here and Beyond the Bar, Warner Bros.’ Vacation Friends 2, and Peacock’s The Copenhagen Test. Fluent in English and Korean, she works in both. She trained on stage first, in leading roles in Little Prince, East West Orphan, and Lost in Transition.
She is drawn to interior stories — grief, distance, the things people cannot quite say — and to characters who carry more than they show. Between projects she teaches somatic movement at her Los Angeles studio and publishes with Lux Perpetua, work that keeps her attentive to how people hold themselves, and to what it looks like when they finally let go.
