Shiona Lee

Shiona Lee (also known as Sharon) is a SAG-AFTRA actress, published writer, and wellness educator currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at Dongguk University. She splits her time between Los Angeles and Seoul, bringing a global lens to everything she creates.

 

Shiona’s creative journey began in the theater, earning her B.A. in Theatre from the University of Richmond and continuing her training at Goldsmiths, UCLA, and IDSA under the mentorship of artists like Larry Silverberg. From writing plays and directing live productions to performing in award-winning films, her work explores themes of identity, trauma healing, intergenerational memory, and belonging.

Her on-screen credits include national commercials (AAA, Apple, Chanel Demo), feature films such as Vacation Friends 2 (Warner Bros), and critically acclaimed shorts like Hello, Goodbye (Best Actress – 2024 PIFF). She has also lent her voice to major projects like Apple’s App Store Awards and the game Diablo Immortal.

As a writer, Shiona authored the poetry collection Searching Home, a reflection on migration, rootedness, and soul work. She also wrote The Beginner’s Guide to the Enneagram, personalized for each type, and contributes translations (Korean-English) of scripts, essays, and webtoons.

In addition to her creative career, Shiona is the co-founder of Lux Perpetua, a women's wellness initiative that offers community-based programs like Heal with Food and Heal with Hammock, blending fascia release, aerial yoga, intuitive eating, and soul restoration. Her goal is to help others reconnect with their body, soul, and spirit—through art, story, and holistic health.

She believes in the power of genuine connection, the wisdom that comes from adversity, and the slow, sacred work of becoming whole.
